FAQ’S

What is Hatch@Home?

Hatch@Home is a compact, secure drop box that receives packages safely inside the home
or garage through a controlled hatch system. It prevents porch theft and eliminates the
need to give delivery drivers full access to your home or office. Hatch@Home can also work for your office or place of business (TYP).

Is Hatch@Home available for purchase?

Hatch@Home is currently in the prototype and testing phase. We will be announcing public availability as soon as possible. Pricing and pre order details will be released once investment or crowdfunding is secured. How Does It Work?
Delivery drivers use a one-time access code (similar to gated community access) to open the secure hatch. This one-time access code is entered by the homeowner in the special instrutions section of a website.

A soft collection bag inside lowers packages gently for damage-free delivery.Hatch@Home can unlocked from the inside of the home/office or can be unlocked using a phone application. Hatch@Home will automatically lock itself after 10 seconds. Within those 10 seconds couriers can deliver multiple packages. If it locks, then the courier will need to re-enter the code. The app will allow homeowners to generate new access codes as desired.

Does the Driver Have Full Access to the Garage?
For your safety, The Hatch is engineered to open only a few degrees, just enough to receive a package. This makes it physically impossible for any delivery driver to access the full garage or enter your home. We’ve tested this mechanism extensively through multiple safety audits, and we stand behind it with our 100% money-back guarantee.

In addition to these physical safeguards, all Amazon delivery personnel are background-checked, GPS-tracked, and required to scan and photograph every delivery using Amazon’s verified delivery system. Industry data shows that theft by Amazon drivers is extremely rare because every package, route, and entry attempt is logged and monitored in real time.

Between Amazon’s strict driver verification and The Hatch’s limited-access design, your deliveries remain secure from every angle.

What Happens if the Garage Door Opens?
The collection bag suspends the package safely, allowing vehicles to enter without damage. After the garage door closes, the package remains secure and can be retrieved at any time.
